While the defending champion's Barcelona is in Group H and a group with AC Milan, BATE Borisov and Viktoria Plzen.

Real Madrid is in Group D along with Olympique Lyon, Ajax Amsterdam and NK Dinamo Zagreb. And the runner-up last season, Manchester United is in Group C along with Benfica, Basel and Otelul Galati.
